Spiritual Support

Spiritual support sessions are an opportunity to work one-on-one or in a small group with Rabbi Eliana. You will decide what approaches you wish to take during this time together. Sessions may include study, meditation exercises, prayer, or creative expression. Spiritual support offers an outlet to grow, explore, and question in a personal and confidential setting.

Areas that Rabbi Eliana focuses on are gender and sexuality, body image, and unlearning shame. They also have undergone training in pastoral support for activists and community organizers.

Spiritual support sessions take place over Zoom and can be scheduled for 30 minutes, 45 minutes, or 1 hour. All sessions are offered at sliding scale rates.

While Rabbi Eliana works within the framework of Jewish spiritual support, you do not need to be Jewish to schedule a session. You will be given the opportunity to indicate if you want your time together to be uniquely Jewish or non-religious. If you have any questions or wish to schedule a free 15 minute session to see if spiritual support is right for you—please head to the contact page. To begin the scheduling process please fill out this form, and you will hear from Eliana within a few days.

While both spiritual and mental health are important to one's wellbeing, please note, spiritual and pastoral support is not a replacement for therapy or services that can be obtained by licensed medical and/or mental health professionals. Rabbi Eliana Kayelle is happy to be part of your spiritual team and help you find a licensed therapist if needed or desired.
